Local Airports

• San Jose International Airport(SJC)– Approximately 40 miles from UCSC
  
• San Francisco International Airport(SFO)- Approximately 70 miles from UCSC
  
• Monterey Regional Airport(MRY) – Approximately 45 miles from UCSC (limited service)

The following companies operate airport shuttles between the airports and Santa Cruz:

• Santa Cruz Flyer: $40 from SJC and $55 from SFO, with fixed shuttle times. 
  
• Santa Cruz Airport Shuttles: $50 for a shuttle from SJC and $80 from SFO (Extra $10 for each additional passenger) 
  
• Early Bird Shuttles: $85 from SJC and $125 from SFO (Extra $10 for each additional passenger after the first 3)

Parking 
Participants who wish to rent a vehicle or drive their own vehicle to campus will need a parking permit. Parking on the UCSC campus is regulated 24-hours, 7 days a week and all vehicles parked on the campus are required to have a parking permit. A Parking Permit is required to park on campus without being ticketed. Purchase a permit($6.00) at the Information Kiosk located at the main entrance to the UCSC Campus.

Note: We would like to encourage carpooling to the Campus if possible. Additionally, Santa Cruz has an excellent public transportation system, with several buses per hour linking the campus and downtown Santa Cruz.
